Non-chemical Control of Kumara Rots after Washing
This report documents the results after carrying out a literature review seeking alternatives to the fungicide Botran for control of rots in kumara after washing and prior to consumption. It was conclude that hot water treatment is the most likely alternative to fungicide treatment and that improved sanitation may also offer an opportunity to reduce reliance to fungicide treatment.
